As well as the part-time Performing Arts Academy and Sapphire Dance Essential, The Talent Stop run other exciting activities during school holidays.
Our Grand Annual Show
A chance for ALL of our students to get their share of limelight and increase their confidence by 1000%.We stage and produce a variety performance with full lights, costumes and a cheering crowd, every year.
Parties
Themed children's parties allow us to take the pressure of running a party off of parents hands and provide unbelievable fun for all the guests. As well as games and fancy dress, everyone gets to learn a song and dance routine to perform to an audience at the end. Themes can include anything you like, favourites being Fairies, Princesses and Superheroes, Michael Jackson, Mermaids and Pirates, High School Musical, Mamma Mia and Hannah Montana.
Choreography Competition
Those with creative ambitions get to wow an audience and judges with their own dance inspirations, every year.
Bring A Friend For Free Day
Students proudly get to bring their pals to share the fun, 3 times per year.
Open Days and Presentations
At these events, anyone is invited to watch our whole timetable of classes from beginning to end, letting you see and appreciate how we warm-up and prepare, teach technique and present practised performance pieces, twice per year.
Medal and Examinations
An important way to mark children's progress in dance and great reward stepping stones for students in the Dance Teachers Federation syllabus acreditted by the Council For Dance Education and Training, twice per year.
Professional Work
We do not run a children's theatrical agency but are always being asked to supply fun-loving singers, dancers and actors for various film, TV and theatre projects. Typically these have included local pantomime and touring musical productions such as Annie and Roald Dahl's George And The Marvellous Medicine, West End shows such as The Lion King and Billy Elliot, fashion show and editorial models for TK Maxx, Adams Children's Wear, International Dance Supplies and Animal Surfwear, and on screen for the BBC's Video Nation, GMTV and Children In Need with lots of independent film projects too.
