Performing
At The Talent Stop, we believe that learning should be done in a low pressure
environment where students are not afraid or intimidated to try.
This way they develop their communication and theatrical skills with
gradual and lasting confidence.
Our
regular Open Days allow friends and family to see
how and what the students learn at The Talent Stops weekly
sessions. Our Presentations are based on all 3
aspects of our Performing Arts courses, involve excerpts from plays,
musicals and dance routines. But most of all, every student however
old or experienced has a chance to take part in our Grand
Annual Show with costumes, make-up, lights and a performance
on stage with a choreography competition to encourage creative flair.
What
the students get
Regular exercise, a life-long hobby, a bunch of new friends, superb training
to be a professional performer if ever that's what you want to be, heaps
of confidence and a heck of a lot of fun.
"it's better than having a
birthday party!"
What
the grown ups get
A manageable hole in your wallet, a fit and healthy bundle of joy who
spends a lot less time in front of the telly, less taxiing about as its
all under one roof, a puffed-up chest and tears in your eyes at our open
days and shows!
“Thank you so much for a well organised and enjoyable
summer school – my daughter enjoyed every day and wants to go "all the
time"!”
“…my daughter(10yrs) had an absolute ball performing in your annual
show. Needless to say I sat with tears running down my face throughout
her dance and am so proud of her determination and self-belief – which
you have bolstered for her. Many, many thanks once again.
“Just wanted to say what a fantastic show; you did a tremendous job
and we, as I am sure all the children and grown ups did, had a wonderful
time and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. THANK YOU!”
“My son(4yrs) has enjoyed the experience and really liked performing
on stage, he hasn't been with you very long, but we can see that already
his confidence has grown especially in school when needing to speak in
large groups.
Watching all the other children perform has inspirited him,
as he talks about which part he might play in next year's performance!
Once again thank you for making this a special experience.” When? Where?
